How long have you been with Upstack?
I started more than 2 years ago. I was employee number 3 but after I spoke with the other 2, I had faith that we could make very cool things together. And we did!
What’s the first thing you did when you woke up this morning?
I made a great coffee and read my Twitter feed or keep up with the messages from the team. They work in another time zone, so there’s always activity while I sleep.
What’s the last thing you did before you went to sleep last night?
This is the last non-private thing lol, my mom will probably read this :)).
It usually happens when I am dead tired and the inspiration and creativity and my eyes have to take a break. So, I just put on a movie and fall asleep in the first 10 minutes. Or the first 5 minutes if the movie is Inception. I never make it past the first 5 minutes with that one.
What’s something most people probably don’t know about you?
That I want a boat to live on the ocean. And I will get it someday!
Where’s your favorite place to work?
Any place that offers comfort, coffee, and sweets.
What’s your favorite productivity hack?
No hack, just the …truth. If you want to be better than most people at what you do, you have to sacrifice a lot of your personal time to train yourself ...
What do you do when you need to get creative?
Listen to Prince, or Queen, or Ennio Morricone. Or [look at] some Karim Rashid art. Or Muhammad Ali interviews.
What’s your favorite way to relieve stress?
Watch some Benny Hill shows or take chill pills, lol.
If you were a drink, what would you be?
Tempted to say a very old wine, but probably everyone thinks of [themselves] like that. Just some apple juice or something sweet, of course, :p
What’s your favorite element of the work you do?
Creating and discovering new ways to make [things] work. Better ways. Helping to solve problems.
What is your favorite thing to do when you’re not working?
Not working? What is that? I like to relax watching leaves, clouds, and waves.
