How long have you been part of Upstack's Community?
I believe I’ve been here for around 3 months now. Might be more, might be less. Regardless of time, it has been the best time of my life!
What's the latest project that you've been working on?
I am working on a crazy cool application that allows people who are involved with apartment buildings marketing to figure out exactly how much money they need to reach certain goals.
For example, if you have a building with 100 apartments, and you have 85% of it occupied, you obviously want to get a higher occupancy rate, right? To do this, you would need to spend more money in marketing - but how much? The tool I am working on helps you figure this out and much more in just a few clicks.
Any accomplishments on the last project, until now?
We have rebuilt the application from the ground up from C# .NET and jQuery to React and Express.
Where's your favourite place to work?
It’s not really a place, but… I love working wherever my family is. I’m a family person :)
What's your favourite productivity hack?
Waking up to a nice, light, and refreshing workout is my favourite productivity hack. It gets the blood flow going, awakens you, gives you the first win of the day, and gives you time to reflect deeply on how you plan on tackling the day.
What do you do when you need to get creative?
I think most of my creativity happens when I work out. If I start running out of work juice, I just head out for a walk or go on another 30 to 60-minute run to re-awaken me and take my brain off of the pressure under which it was.

What's your favourite element in the work you do?
My favourite element in the work I do is the passionate and smart people that I get to deal with on a daily basis. It is demotivating to work with people that do not have goals and ambitions. I always try to surround myself with winners so that I can also become a winner.
What's your favourite thing to do when you’re not working?
I like to spend my time off with my wife, working out, and with my family playing board games or catching up on the latest happenings.
What's your favourite way to relieve stress?
I am starting to believe I am a bit addicted to working out. I think working out is my favourite way to relieve stress :) Definitely changes the pace and helps my brain believe that it’s doing something good and productive.
What's your favourite joke?
To be honest, I’m not much of a joke guy, so I had to use google for this. I found a joke I really enjoyed, and I hope you do as well:
“I just left my job. I couldn’t work for that man any longer after what he said to me.
- What did he say?
You’re fired.”
