This was a UI/UX Redesign project for a startup building a dating site. They had previous built a version but felt it needed improvement so I had to do a complete redesign of its interface and experience. I used Figma as my main design tool, creating a small design system to make things easier. Created a small design library for components to maintain consistency across the board, also choosing a color scheme that matched the brand identity. After weeks of iterations, re-iterations, and re-re-iterations based on the clients’ feedback and communicating with their in-house developers, I got the final (re)designs done.
Digital Delivery Solution (DDS) is a dispatch app that gives everyone the opportunity to send items without stress. It was a collaborative project. My role was to produce user journeys and designs.
We designed wireframes and mid-fidelity prototypes for the clients who needed a blueprint for this app before proceeding with development. They had done some research on the market space and found that most logistics solutions were either too stressful or inefficient in terms of services. The purpose of DDS is to involve both vendors and customers in the delivery process with as little inconvenience as possible.
I was commissioned by THE CORRESPONDENT, an online news publication based in the Netherlands, to design illustrations for their feature story on the vague nature of migration policies within the EU as related to Africa. My main tools were Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. This was a fun project because it gave me insight into the best way to illustrate an idea that people instantly connect with.
