Enterprise pricing is a complex matter. My challenge at Accrue was finding a solution that translates the science behind pricing. Hired by the founder, I was able to help the company create a consistent, robust, and scalable Design foundation. Working closely with Engineering and running discovery sessions with users, I helped build Design Principles, Design Systems, and UX patterns, which guided interface design and was an essential part of speeding up Engineering work. According to its founder, the product's maturity and consistency were critical aspects of helping the company land its first customers in weeks.
Before PhotoDay, volume photography involved massive amounts of paper, lost time, and unsatisfied customers. PhotoDay is changing this landscape by simplifying and optimizing workflows for thousands of studios. I was hired to help the company add a marketing layer to its solution, so studios could increase their revenue and better serve customers with custom solutions. Most of my work involved user testing with prototypes and creating new patterns specially designed for mobile usage. The release was followed with much excitement and excellent adoption rates.
Knoetic started as a community for CPOs and gained tremendous insight into this problem space. Its founding Product Manager hired me to help build a whole new analytics tool on top of the existing solution. Several discovery sessions later, we built the first solution and constantly iterated on it through prototyping. The release was a massive success. The company is doing really well, having raised a $36M Series B (EQT/Menlo/Accel) investment.
