The project involved redoing an automation framework from scratch as the existing solution was extremely flaky and took 8 hours to run, which, in turn, led to high deployment times. I wrote a Selenium/Ruby based framework (BDD style - using Cucumber for test steps and documentation). I then received another task to create a JavaScript-based automation project for a new service - I used Cypress which was a lot better since I could now hook into the HTTPS requests and build a state without accessing UI. I also used Detox to build automated tests for the mobile version.
Ticketscript is Europe’s number one self-service digital ticketing company, providing event organizers with technology that helps them sell more tickets and grow their business over time. Added two frameworks for automation testing: 1. Selenium-based for the event organization platform (Selenium, Ruby, BDD - Gherkin) 2. NightwatchJS -> for the ticket selling app. I also did manual testing as there were some flows that required multiple apps talking to each other (Android tablet -> Android phone -> 2 web apps).
Implemented new automation workflows to validate and correct meter readings in the ERP systems. The solution helps ENEL to identify, analyze and process utility bill cancellations on the ERP. It checks prerequisites and triggers the start of energy supplies for new customers. Deployed the solution to the cloud using Azure DevOps.
Designed, developed and deployed automation workflows for finance and accounting processes. The workflows processed and imported balance sheet information, generated and sent invoices to customers, read, processed, and imported invoice data. It also accessed, processed and updated lines of credit status for the company. Designed a robust algorithm with OCR to read invoices and account for small differences with the invoice templating systems of suppliers.
Designed and implemented automation flows for daily reconciliation relating to all payments processed by the bank and monthly loan repayment deferrals. The solution handled daily loan collateral deposit conciliations, credit lines repayments deferrals, overdraft repayments deferrals, updating daily available balance credit lines and end of day accounts reconciliations.
