Worked on the development of the Everli app for the main European e-grocery marketplace, having over 250.000 users.

Assisted with launching the app in two new countries and worked on improving its overall architecture.

Developed new features for the app, which was Native Android written in Kotlin.

Worked on a large legacy codebase to improve existing features and develop new ones using both Java and Kotlin with support for API levels 15 and higher.

Redesigned the architecture of the app to bring substantial improvements in most areas including stability and performance of old features, reduced battery usage, reduced complexity and time required for implementing new features.

Developed unit tests for both new and old features, refactoring old ones where unit testing was not possible. Managed Play Store updates (sequential rollouts) and monitored developer console and firebase crashlytics for crashes and ANRs.

Acted as Android Developer Intern for a global software engineering and design services company specializing in mobile and embedded devices, with expertise in multimedia and communications systems.
