Marcelo is a Senior Developer with solid knowledge of Python - its models, frameworks, libraries, packages and APIs. He is fluent in C/C++, Fortran, Big Data and Google Cloud Platform. He designs and develops new end-to-end solutions on projects with minimal supervision - building reusable and maintainable to improve code functionality and reliability.
The project involved the development of a computational tool dedicated to the construction of surrogate models for submerged structures (sponsored by Petrobras). Developed and implemented scripts to automate the generation of different strake geometries
Mesh generation using Ansys-ICEM. Performed computational analysis of three-dimensional turbulent flows on risers with different strake models. Performance analysis of different surrogate models in predicting the dynamic behavior of submerged structures using a Python environment.
The project involved the development of a turbulent flow combustion modeling based on the Eulerian / Lagrangian technique and immersed boundary methodology (sponsored by Petrobras). Developed and implemented a C++/Fortran interface for the communication between a CFD code (FORTRAN) and the Cantera library (C++). Implemented several parallel and mesh-adaptive combustion models. Performed computational analysis of three-dimensional reactive flows, as well as code maintenance/source code control (Git).
