In this project, I worked on developing a BI system based on Python for the automation of ELT's processes and Microsoft Power BI for the visualization step. I acted as a developer and also a data engineer.
The project involved a Python web-scraped-based API that gives info about Football players, teams, and matches. I used Flask as a web framework and MongoDB for the data storage. Also, it has a Swagger UI integrated.
This was developed as a final project for a course about Data Analytics I was taking. I worked as a part of a team, having the main role of building the web app to present visually all the processed data that were coming in. To reach that I used the Dash framework for the graphics, and to be more robust it was integrated on top of a Flask server.
