Worked on deployments through the Renault Digital Finance Hub CI/CD process, and managed the non-production environments on projects. Provided first-line support to help projects overcome roadblocks; making sure that all processes run smoothly, fast and stable. Proposed new tools for the DevOps toolset (and got accepted) and reduced project data loading time > 6 times. Projects are at different stages of implementation: one project – Release 1.2, two (2) projects are heading towards MVP and the final two (2) are data projects for loading and mining data.

Worked on the design of hardware infrastructure, virtual infrastructure, database modelling, installation and configuration (early days), updates and upgrades. Provided guidance for new team members on-boarding and Ops team co-ordination. The system has evolved over the last 8 years; reducing update/bug-fixing downtime from days to minutes and revived another project (dropped-dead) that interacted with this one. It is used internally by the Romanian National Police with 55k users and >2 billion database rows (OLTP).

Worked on a demo of the weather forecast impact (algorithm) which shows different levels of impact on the power transport infrastructure at the national level. Reduced the time for field team response to severe incidents from several hours after, to being at the location where an incident might occur within/several hours ahead, and fully prepared. The system was launched in 2014 (evolving from TEGIS to TEGIS2) and is used internally by clients (400 active users) with no public-facing side/features.

The Romanian Gendarmerie is the State’s specialized institution, with military status, within the Ministry of Internal Affairs which, according to the law, exercises its attributions on the protection of public order and safety, citizens’ rights and fundamental liberties, public and private property, crime prevention and detection and other infringements of laws into force, as well as protection of the State’s fundamental institutions and countering of terrorist acts. Delivered more than 150 releases in 1.5 years; moving the solution from a system that used to “die” 5-10 times a week to a system that has been running smoothly for the last 2.5 years. Improved end-user satisfaction and project outcome visibility. The system is used countrywide with 11k active users.
