What is AWS Development?
AWS development is the process of building applications, services, and platforms on the Amazon Web Services cloud platform. AWS is a powerful cloud platform that enables programmers to build applications and services quickly and easily. It provides a wide range of services, including compute, storage, networking, and databases, as well as a host of other tools and services.
AWS developers are responsible for deploying, managing, and maintaining applications and services on the AWS platform. They must be well-versed in AWS technologies and services and understand how to use them effectively to build and maintain applications and services. AWS developers must also be knowledgeable in coding languages such as Python, Java, and Node.js, as well as tools such as Git, Chef, and Puppet.

Hiring an experienced AWS developer has many benefits. An experienced AWS developer will have a deep understanding of the AWS platform and will be able to deploy, manage, and maintain applications and services quickly and effectively. Additionally, they will be well-versed in coding languages and tools and have experience building, deploying, and managing applications and services on the AWS platform.
An experienced AWS developer will also be knowledgeable in cloud security best practices and will be able to ensure that applications and services are secure and compliant with AWS security standards. Furthermore, they will be able to optimize applications and services for performance and scalability, ensuring that applications and services can handle increased traffic and usage.

How to Vet an AWS Developer

Common AWS FAQs
What is AWS?
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a collection of cloud computing services that make up a cloud computing platform, offered by Amazon.com. These services include computing, storage, database, analytics, machine learning, and more, and are designed to help businesses scale and grow. AWS allows organizations to access the same technologies that Amazon uses to run its own websites and services, making it easier for them to build and operate their own applications and services in the cloud.
What is Amazon Web Services Certification?
AWS certification is a professional certification offered by Amazon Web Services that certifies individuals in various AWS specialties. These certifications validate the skills and knowledge of individuals in designing, deploying, and operating applications and infrastructure on AWS. AWS offers several different certifications, including the AWS Certified Solutions Architect, the AWS Certified Developer, the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, and more. Each certification has its own set of requirements and exams that individuals must pass to become certified. These certifications can help individuals demonstrate their proficiency in AWS to employers and can also lead to career advancement and higher salaries in the field of cloud computing.
What is EC2 in AWS?
Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) is a web service that provides resizable compute capacity in the cloud. It is a central part of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud computing platform. EC2 allows users to rent virtual computers on which to run their own applications. This makes it possible for users to scale and control the computing resources they use, without having to invest in physical infrastructure. With EC2, users can choose the type and size of the virtual machine they want to use, and can also select the operating system and other software they want to run on it. EC2 allows users to quickly and easily scale their computing resources up or down as needed, making it a flexible and cost-effective solution for running a wide range of applications in the cloud.
Is AWS free?
AWS offers a free tier of services for new users. The free tier includes a certain amount of free usage for many of its services, including Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3), and Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS). The free tier is designed to allow new users to get started with AWS for free, so they can try out the services and see how they work. However, the free tier is intended for use only in a development or testing environment, and is not suitable for running production workloads. If you exceed the usage limits of the free tier, you will be charged for the additional usage. Additionally, some services are not included in the free tier and will incur charges from the start. You can view the current free tier offers and usage limits on the AWS website.
What is EBS in AWS?
Amazon Elastic Block Store (Amazon EBS) is a block storage service provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS). EBS provides persistent storage for Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) instances, allowing data to be retained even after the EC2 instance is shut down. EBS volumes can be attached to EC2 instances as a virtual hard drive, and can be used for a variety of purposes, including storage for applications, databases, and file systems. EBS allows users to create and manage the storage volumes they need, and to scale their storage capacity up or down as needed. EBS offers different types of volumes, each with its own performance characteristics, so users can choose the type of volume that best meets their needs.
How do I delete an AWS account?
To delete your AWS account, follow these steps:
- 1. Sign in to the AWS Management Console.
- 2. In the navigation pane, under "Security, Identity, & Compliance," choose "IAM."
- 3. In the left navigation pane, choose "Users."
- 4. Choose the user that you want to delete.
- 5. In the user details pane, choose the "Delete User" button.
- 6. In the "Delete User" dialog box, choose "Delete" to confirm that you want to delete the user.
Note that when you delete a user, any access keys, password, and permissions associated with that user will also be deleted. You will not be able to recover any of this information once it is deleted.
Additionally, deleting a user will not automatically delete any AWS resources that the user has created, such as Amazon S3 buckets or Amazon EC2 instances. You will need to delete these resources separately, either by using the AWS Management Console or by using the appropriate AWS APIs.
Once you have deleted all the users and resources associated with your AWS account, you can contact AWS Support to request that your AWS account be deleted. Be sure to have the account number and any other necessary information handy when you contact AWS Support. They will assist you with the process of deleting your AWS account.
