Black Friday is the most important event for eMAG in all the markets where it is available. Improved the pick-up rate, decreased delivery times by adding new technologies - deploying Android PDAs – the Android App was developed in-house), added new DMS improvements and many other software improvements to provide better customer satisfaction. Managed project teams with the Product Owner; finding the best technology and software solutions for Black Friday. Added a faster algorithm for picking and changing the programming logic in the backend. The solution is used internally by eMag warehouse staff from Romania, Hungary and Poland with 800+ downloads at the time of release.
