The project involved the revamping and migration of BML Istisharat’s ICBS core banking system. Phase one–the enterprise credit system (ECS) –covered BSN’s conventional and Islamic lending. This was when Infopro’s ICBA was replaced. Phase two–channels and core operation (COO) –will cover BSN deposits, payments, branch delivery system as well as integration with various digital/payments channels and “other peripherals”. Implementation of ICBS (Integrated Computerized Banking System) at APS Bank in Malta

The new platform is the ICBS system supplied by a Lebanese banking software vendor BML Istisharat. The solution is delivered on a hosted basis. This is the first project for BML in Malta. ICBS ousted a legacy Profits system from Greece-based Intrasoft International that had been in place at APS Bank since 2002. During this project, I received great appreciation words from the onsite team as the data migration scripts that I was assigned to develop were executed smoothly without any "showstopper" errors. Technologies used: ORACLE PL/SQL; ORACLE Forms Builder 10g; ORACLE Reports Builder 10g; TOAD for ORACLE Database Development Tool.
