The project involved developing a software product used in the aviation audit system in Switzerland. The software would allow auditors to perform audits and add root causes. I worked on the backend side using Laravel and PHP. A challenging thing that I had to develop was a system in which when a new client would buy the software we would automatically create a subdomain and link the app to it.
Worked as a full-stack with PHP Laravel and Javascript React on a loyalty platform developed for a very big Romanian tobacco company. One of the main challenges was that the app had thousands of active users at any given time so that we had to create a deployment system in which we would have 0 downtimes. We did this using a load balancer and having a shadow node through which we would redirect traffic. Another fun thing that we accomplished is that we made the app a PWA in order to offer the users a mobile-like experience because tobacco-related apps are banned from app stores.
