Measured performance of application with system & application log tools.
Operate, maintain and scale internal web-based applications by automating pipelines to provision infrastructure in the cloud.
Established and developed a single terraform module for specific services to avoid code duplication on infrastructure provisioning.
Provide support to the online gaming infrastructure by deploying Online and Live game features, maintaining virtual online game infrastructure environments and deploying software solutions and tools (Jenkins, Chef, etc.) to the client's virtual environment.
Provided support for the escalation of maintenance services on Oracle Solaris 10 and IBM AIX 7.1 platforms for clients. (Production,Testing, Development, Integration).
Provided support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and automated OS patching and provisioning in On-Premise DCs for clients.
Provided Tier 1 problem identification and diagnosis support for several responsibilities that included patching strategies, monitoring improvement/consulting, contingency planning, disaster recovery, backup and restore for distressed clients.
Responsible for maintaining and improving the Monitoring Platform supporting the Production (+700 hosts) and Testing Environments as well as Networks.
Optimized system operations with monitoring tools like Nagios, Munin, Cacti, and customized checks for specific services, scripting in Bash and Perl for different clients.
Provided assistance for platform-wide sessions, traffic and other graphics behaviour services (Such as FD's, GarbageCollection, CPU Usage, Memomy, Load Average and specific service parameters & metrics) for clients.
This is a Generic service which abstracts the core functionality needed to facilitate timed auction services, auction resolution callback, sorting and searching on aggregate data. Meets high performance SLAs. Technologies used: Configuration Management: Chef; Service Discovery: Consul; IaaC:Terraform; CI/CD: Gitlab-CI; Cloud Provider: AWS; OS: Centos 6.9; Monitoring: Zabbix, AppDynamics, Grafana, CloudWatch; Centralized Logging: ELK
Similar in concept to Twitter like a news feed, but for game events that allows users to opt in' to contextual notifications, and can be reused for any type of notifications or aggregate data split among different channels owned by specific users. The complete followers feature also represented a new method of correlating, routing, and aggregating service requests and user information between services. Technologies used: Configuration Management: Chef; Service Discovery: Consul; IaaC: Terraform; CI/CD: Gitlab-CI; Cloud Provider: AWS; OS: Centos 6.9; Monitoring: Zabbix, AppDynamics, Grafana, CloudWatch; Centralized Logging: ELK
Sun Solaris 10: Using Solaris Live Upgrade, reducing the downtime to just a reboot time. This helped to avoid service disruption or patching in off-peak hours. IBM AIX 7.1: Through NIM ( Network Instalation Manager ) apply upgrades and updates via nimadm. Based on mirroring the rootvg on an alternate boot device, and working on this inactive media allowing to apply patches or upgrades without service disruption.
In order to avoid code duplication on the infrastructure provisioning (we provide service for several franchises like FIFA, NBA, Madden, Battlefront, Battlefield, and others) I was in charge of creating a single terraform module for the specific service. This helped a lot to reduce the provisioning time and boosted the client satisfaction for the low ETA.
