Syed is a driven Software Engineer with 4+ years of experience in back-end development using Golang, C++, Python, and machine learning tools. His expertise includes working on multiple AI-powered platforms such as the Driving Infrastructure and Traffic Injection modules of AAI's Intelligent Traffic. He is passionate about building robust, customer-centric software solutions from the ground up, with an emphasis on low latency, scalability, and extensibility.
Worked on the Driving Infrastructure and Traffic Injection modules of AAI's Intelligent Traffic, aspiring to see a world where autonomous agents are a norm.
Utilized Python/C++ and machine learning tools to design software algorithms.
Contributed to best practices, helping to balance the diversity of individual skills within the development team community.
Afiniti is the world’s leading applied artificial intelligence and advanced analytics provider. Afiniti Enterprise Behavioral Pairing™ uses artificial intelligence to identify subtle, valuable patterns of human interaction in order to pair individuals on the basis of behavior, leading to more successful interactions and measurable increases in enterprise profitability. The project involved creating a service to monitor and cater to any failure in Afiniti’s Microservice Architecture, specifically for the call-routing domain.
The development of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and highly automated driving (HAD) requires profound knowledge in the areas of artificial intelligence, complex software architectures, software frameworks, and tool development. This is a C++ based implementation of naturalistic traffic flow based on Mathematical models to facilitate the testing of AAI Autonomous Agents. This project won the German Mobility Award in 2021 for Best Practices.
It started with an MVP written in Python, which we shifted completely to C++ 14 and C++ 11 and got to run 1000 vehicles in a simulation at 1000 FPS.
With this naturalistic traffic simulation, it is possible to test automated driving algorithms based on long-haul test drives in simulation. Worked on a platform to support testing of Autonomous Driving Agents with end-to-end report generation and support for multiple Highway and Urban maps with a variety of environmental conditions. Supports driver profiles ranging from extremely defensive and aggressive agents. The product also supports co-simulation with various other platforms
