The project is a Next-gen live video streaming platform. The platform focuses on increasing discoverability for content creators and implementing the latest in streaming technology to level the playing field. Built the platform from the ground up based on the highly concurrent Elixir language. At its peak, it had over a million weekly page views. We use Elixir for the main website & API, and Go for some video processes.
Minotar is an avatar image source for Minecraft characters. Think Gravatar, but for Minecraft. It's highly scaled and at its peak was processing billions of requests a month. Written in Go.
Gratipay was a project determined to figure out if funding open source work was possible, a funded pay-what-you-want on our own platform. I helped develop pieces of the project over its 5-6 year span. The main stack was Python.
