The project is a Jenkins plugin for notifying users when a Jenkins build or a pipeline step fails, which is configurable through Jobs. The plugin provides Jenkins integration with OpsGenie. Opsgenie Jenkins Integration is used to forward Jenkins build alerts to Opsgenie. Opsgenie determines the right people to notify based on on-call schedules– notifies via email, text messages (SMS), phone calls, and iOS & Android push notifications, and escalates alerts until the alert is acknowledged or closed. When a build-related problem occurs in Jenkins, an alert is created in Opsgenie automatically through the integration. The plugin currently has 230 downloads and it is featured at Jenkin's GitHub. Technologies used in the project: Java, Maven, and Jenkins framework for the plugin.
