Levon is a Senior Software Engineer with 8+ years of experience developing front-end and back-end features for global companies in the AI industry, Machine Learning, CMS platforms, and others. He builds interactive and user-centered website designs to scale using React.js, Meteor.js, Node.js, MEAN stack, and TypeScript, with a front-end bias and a strong UI/UX design background. Among Levon's notable achievements is his critical contribution to a startup that gained $10 million in funding and grew into a team of 50.
Worked on the development of an AI-enabled greenhouse inventory tracking and management system, connecting plants, facilities, and people through a single interface.
Managed to build a challenging web app that dealt with hardware data acquisition, displaying sensor stats and metrics, integrating computer vision and machine learning, and task management among other interesting features.
Adhered to methodologies and best practices that enhanced product definition, customizing the application per user needs.
The project involved the creation of an AI-enabled greenhouse inventory tracking and management system. Connecting plants, facilities, and people through a single interface, LUNA turns commercial greenhouses into precise, predictable, demand-based manufacturers. I worked on the development of the web/mobile greenhouse management tool for the last 3+ years, basically starting the project from scratch as the only front-end developer right from the inception of the startup till its growth into a team of 50 and over $10 million in funding. Managed to build a challenging web app that dealt with hardware data acquisition, displaying sensor stats and metrics, integrating computer vision and machine learning, and task management among other interesting features. Technologies used in the project: TypeScript, React.js, GraphQL, Node.js, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Google Cloud.
Sony/ATV Music Publishing is the leading global music publisher with a diverse catalog of iconic songs written by legends. The award-winning synch teams offer free creative, music supervision, and licensing services to our clients worldwide. My role was to create a web app for the company's internal use that displays a customizable dashboard of various KPIs, such as licensing, sales, royalties, etc. Coded the app in Angular.js and connected it with a complicated back-end on AWS that had multiple types of data coming from a range of different sources, as well as integrating resizable Tableau dashboards into the web app.
The project involved an AI-enhanced future prediction platform for the University of Southern California Information Sciences Institute. The SAGE team is working to build a hybrid forecasting platform that utilizes the unique strengths of both humans and machine models. SAGE predictions are primarily focused on global politics, economics, science, business, and entertainment. Assisted with the design of a simple and effective UI and then developed it into a performant React.js based front-end, which has since been used to predict 100s of questions. The system uses unique data tools and machine learning methods to “hybridize” the forecasting process.
