Italyabroad is an eCommerce platform that sells Italian wine and food made by small, independent producers, fantastic wine from all over Italy, and delicious and healthy food made only using natural ingredients, retail and wholesale. I created a custom-built Ruby on Rails webshop selling pure Italian wine and food. I handled code refactoring, dockerized the app, enhanced product filtering, integrated newsletter template, enhanced product CSV export, and more. The project is a Stress Management Barometer platform that maps and reports stress effects at the individual, group, and organizational levels with concrete figures. Built this project from scratch as a sole developer in the startup. Ruby on Rails was used for the backend and Kendo UI as a SPA framework on the frontend. Acted as CTO of the SaaS project which operates in the corporate wellbeing space. It consists of a survey module with automated, instant data analysis and a custom online training program module with statistics available for upper management to see how employees progress.
Empathy is a CMS that I created as a side project. The original version was built with Kendo UI as the frontend framework, and Ruby on Rails as the backend. It is now under a massive rewrite to VueJS for the frontend and NodeJS ( ExpressJS ) for the backend. When it is ready, it will be released on Github as an open-source project. Balázs aims to give useful tools and information to those who would like to learn or improve their English skills to be able to speak confidently whether they want to learn on their own or with the help of a teacher. I built the Vue.js/NUXT.js frontend, WordPress plugin to extend the WP JSON API, custom forms and API endpoints to work with NUXT.js, and installable app icon.
