Harvey Norman's e-commerce site is a home products manufacturer and retailer site. Managed site infrastructure - ensuring reliability/security and maintaining the site's infrastructure, optimization, load tests, etc. Led integration of the site's point of sale system with its online store and the development of its multi-store delivery fulfilment solution (which assigns shipping tasks to the nearest available store from the customer). Worked on the SLI integration (e-commerce search tool), furniture collections feature, and product care warranty integration.
Worked on a Job scraper solution to scrape data from across different job sites using Scrapy; the data included the job title, job description, qualifications, salary, and other pertinent job seeker information on the solution. The data is fed into an inspector app which checks for accuracy. Developed Python scripts to scrape job data, maintained scripts for data accuracy and performance improvement. Led essential tasks on bug tracking and fixes on the job scraper app.
Worked on Bright Media's job search services website that connects job seekers to the best opportunities and employers to top prospects on the platform by the use of their proprietary machine learning algorithms. Developed new features and managed the tracking and fixing of bugs for the site.
