Through innovative technology and the talent of more than 800 professionals, they offer millions of travelers a digital and mobile platform for searching and booking travel services. They are part of CVC Corp, the largest travel group in Brazil and Latin America, made up of ten brands geared towards different segments. Worked as a member of the data science team, researching and implementing product recommendation models in Apache Spark and then placing those models into a production environment. Real Trends is the leading platform in analysis and management tools for Mercado Libre sellers in the Latin America region. Their main values are excellence, commitment, empathy, teamwork, transparency, and metric orientation. The platform offers the best tools for sellers: a tool to answer questions in record time, with quick answers, automatic cost calculation by MercadoEnvíos, predefined greeting and signature, shortcuts keyboard, history, and more. I performed end to end development of a Big data application to perform a market analysis on the MercadoLibre platform. Technologies used in the project: AWS, S3, Python, Celery, Apache Spark, Luigi, MongoDB, Flask.
Lead Data Engineer - Decentraland
Decentraland is a startup that received 30M+ USD to create a virtual world owned by its users . Started in Dec 2017, It was successfully launched in Feb 2020 and has built a strong community of more than 10k+ users creating content inside the world. Acted as Lead Data Engineer that managed all data operations across the company including data engineering, data analysis, reporting and user-behavior analysis. I built from ground up all data infrastructure for storage, processing, querying and reporting, instrumenting several ETLs in Apache Airflow collecting data from different websites as well as the Ethereum blockchain. Technologies used in the project: AWS, Python, Apache Airflow, S3, AWS Redshift, Jupyter-notebooks, DBT, Metabase, Flask, Scikit-learn, d3.js.
