Greek University’s Network (GUNET) goal was to provide a portal with access to all open courses that are served from Greek Universities. Built the web application to harvest metadata from all Greek Academic Institutes, store them in a repository with a search engine, and a custom front-end for the end-user.
Involved in the design of technical specifications and application functionalities. Participated in the frontend implementation of the solution.
The scope of the project was to create a catalogue with services for GEANT (pan-European Academic Institutes). The solution was built using the Javascript (MEAN stack) with high availability and search capabilities.
