Highly-skilled Software Engineer with 10+ years of software development of web applications using Python/Django and other technologies. Built several large applications for start-ups and collaborated on large enterprise projects like TSA, Harvard, Qualcomm, EDX, and Capsuletech. A fast-learner with keen attention to detail, Thyago has a deep understanding of the software development life cycle and delivering up to client expectations.

This system scrapes several commodities supplier's websites for price data, saves it locally and displays the products for purchase showcasing the best available prices. The purpose is to simplify the purchase of commodities. Currently, companies need to contact several sales reps for the prices that get updated frequently. We are streamlining that process with an elegant platform leveraging a known typical e-commerce (custom built) interface. I designed, built, and deployed the entire project over the course of approximately 6 months. The initial project was built on Flask and rewrote with Django. The project was successfully launched and is currently live at https://prima.market. The company is in the process of hiring sales and administrative personnel to begin sales. Technologies used in the project: Django, Scrapy, PostgreSQL, AWS (EBS, RDS), Cron.
The project is a custom portal to organize and deliver a huge collection of technical documentation, downloads, and general tech support. It delivers quick access to the information you need on a regular basis, including all product documentation and access to the Download area where you can download setup software and device drivers for the devices you want to connect. Closely collaborated on development with the company's director and front-end developer. Improved several algorithms to speed up file delivery. The project was successfully launched and is currently live. Technologies used in the project: Python, Django.
The basic idea of this system is to streamline marketing for companies and politicians. It facilitates the recruitment of marketing personnel by lending their Twitter and Facebook accounts so that the client could post on their behalf at configurable time periods. This made several campaigns go viral due to the invites that were sent automatically when a new recruit signed up (with their approval). These invites would actually reach the audience since it was sent by an actual friend. It also made campaigns more professional by getting the desired message across in a uniform way. The software was launched and we were able to sell several licenses including to high ranking politicians (Governor of ParanĂ¡ state, several congressmen) and ad agencies - including the agency in charge of the Vale and Petrobras accounts in the northeast. Technologies used in the project: Django, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Facebook and Twitter APIs.
